Wife Gets in Trouble for being Home Late

When Paula arrived home, she saw that Pete was already having dinner alone. He certainly did not look so happy. Pete does not like it when his wife leaves the house and comes home late. For him, decent ladies need to be home before it gets dark. Knowing this, Paula knew she was in trouble. She planned to be home earlier but she had hard time looking for a chris brown CD which she intends to give as a present for a friend who was about to celebrate her birthday. Paula knew she had to be the one to make the first move if she did not want to worsen the situation. So she approached her husband and sat next to him and then she said, Hello. She kissed Pete on the cheek and went on to say, I am sorry to be home late. Please do not get mad at me, Pete. You know I hate it when you don't speak to me. After hearing his wife's apologies, Pete looked at Paula and said, All right. Let's just enjoy dinner, shall we?
