The health of the body and mind is important for athletes

Mind and body are intertwined. If one area is not doing well then it will affect the other part. Most athletes do not know the importance of making sure that they are well in their minds and in their bodies. There is a sport psychologist who said that athletes do not know how to make the balance between body and mind. This is very accurate because I have seen it with many of my athlete friends in college. My best friend is a foot ball player. One time he realized that he liked me and when he brought it up I did not take it well. So what he did was he stopped doing well in his football games. I stopped attending them because I was very confused. He practiced double compared to his other mates. He slept very little and ate less. His body was being neglected and his mind was in array. He passed out during a game and I had to re emerge from hiding. I liked him too and I am dating my best friend who is doing well in his game. He finally got his mind and body in sync again.
