I am very proud of my dad. He is a popular figure in the world of sports. I really think that I have a lot to gain from being the daughter of a famous golf psychologist. But more than the money or the fame that comes with being his daughter, what I find really amazing is the kind of relationship that we have developed because of the nature of his job. You see, my dad travels a lot. He is everywhere and the best thing about is that he takes me with him. My dad is never the type to leave parental duties to the mother alone. Unlike many fathers I know, my dad is really a hands on parent. He makes sure he is always around for me, even when he is actually working. Being his only child, he wants us to bond as much as we can. He says that he does not want me to grow up not knowing him. That would make him really miserable, as he said. I have no complaints because my dad is simply the best. |

Mind and body are intertwined. If one area is not doing well then it will affect the other part. Most athletes do not know the importance of making sure that they are well in their minds and in their bodies. There is a sport psychologist who said that athletes do not know how to make the balance between body and mind. This is very accurate because I have seen it with many of my athlete friends in college. My best friend is a foot ball player. One time he realized that he liked me and when he brought it up I did not take it well. So what he did was he stopped doing well in his football games. I stopped attending them because I was very confused. He practiced double compared to his other mates. He slept very little and ate less. His body was being neglected and his mind was in array. He passed out during a game and I had to re emerge from hiding. I liked him too and I am dating my best friend who is doing well in his game. He finally got his mind and body in sync again. |

Men and boys are the ones who are famously known for being addicted to video and computer games. I should know this because I have three brothers who love playing video games all the time. I am a bridesmaid for one of my college friends and my room mate who loves video games is also a bridesmaid too. This roommate is loved by my brothers because when they come to visit they never get bored when I am not around. They get to play video games with a beautiful girl who happens to be really good at video games. The bride got us bridesmaid gifts and they were all very unique. There are those brides who get their bride maids gift baskets to avoid the hustle of individual shopping but not this bride's maid. She got my room mate a video game console that she had been wanting for a very long time. Believe it or not my brothers flew in the weekend of the wedding and instead of partying like normal people they played video games. |

Aside from the study of the mind, there is also the study of the physical aspect of the body. Your physical fitness also matters a lot, side from the good reasoning of your brain. The fact that there is a lot that has been said about sports psychology that it only revolves around mental stability Is not true, this is because if we were to give a full description of what is sports psychology then it would definitely be the study of the mind as well as the study of the physical stability of an individual. If physically you have challenges that need help, it means that your mental status is not the only thing that matters. You will need to be physically fit for you to get a good mental momentum so that you can be good in sports. All these are a requirement and as for a psychologist, it is not always going to be about your mental status. You will need to be very fit physically before you are subjected to good mental tests so that they can give you a document certifying your right to play any sport in the field. |
