Preparing to bury our dead is the most difficult thing to do. Its not just about the departing loved one, but because of the costs involved. So many people cannot foot the funeral bills, and they end up borrowing some money from friends, relatives and even the government. We already have funeral grants that are issued out by the government for the same purpose, and one can get enough money to foot the full bill. There are so many things that require financial support, like paying hospital bills, attendants that are going to prepare the body for burial, transportation to the burial site and so many other things. The cost of living these days has gone really up, and not everyone can afford such expenses, that is why the government is offering these grants to anyone who is needy, irrespective of their social class. Initially, only the extreme needy were considered, mainly the low income earners, but today, everyone is eligible to receive benefits. This will enhance equality to all citizens, because we will be using the same resources and services.
