It was late at night when Charlene came home. When she opened the door, she noticed that the lights were still on, which told her that someone was still awake - probably waiting for her. Before she could close the door again, her mom appeared from the kitchen, holding a glass of water. There you are, she said. What took you so long? I was starting to worry, you know. It's not like you to come home late. Charlene approached her mom and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She apologized saying, I am sorry, mom. I had to talk to a Derby caterer and then I got stuck in traffic on my way here. I wanted to call you earlier, but then I realized that I left my phone in my office drawer. Today is not my day, obviously. Her mom was sympathetic. She knew that her daughter must be very hungry and tired and so she volunteered to set the table for her. The two ended up talking until much later. Charlene has always been very close to her mom. She could not last a day without engaging in a conversation with her. |

As I was looking at my sister's wedding dress, I could not help but recall my own wedding which happened three years ago. The memories are still so clear up to now. It was a beautiful Tuesday morning when I walked down the aisle. I was the happiest girl that day because I was marrying my prince charming. It did not just end with the hog roast wedding we had because up to now, Jon has remained faithful to the promise he made on our wedding day. He said he would make me happy and he has done just that and so much more. He made me truly alive! I pray that my sister will enjoy the same fate. I don't know Billy much, but I hope that he is really a good man. My sister deserves to be happy and I hope she finds her happiness in the man she is marrying today. My sister is my best friend in the world. I would protect her in as much as I could and she would do the same for me. |

Although the internet is the best way to learn the latest cake decorating techniques, nothing will beat learning how to do it from a pastry chef. Pastry chefs can teach you first the basics on how to make different kinds of icing. Icing on the cake is the base and foundation on every masterpiece.
Think of your cake as a canvas wherein our icing is the primer that evens out the surface. Your choice of color sets the mood and theme of your design. The kind of icing that you will make depends on the design you have in mind. You may need a sturdy base if you are planning to put cake decorations on top that are a little too heavy that it will sink into the icing if you use a sugar based coating. In this case a fondant icing will do best.
Cake decorating entails learning the techniques from a true professional. Aside from learning the right way to swirl your icing, mixing the right amount of food coloring into the icing mix, you will also have to learn the right temperature and timing to set in baking your final products. And only a professional like a pasty chef can teach you these secrets. |

When our company started upgrading its operations, we needed many more employees. Our director decided to hire a few, just to start with and then others were to follow depending on the workload. The first to be hired was a marketing executive, who was supposed to oversee the marketing operations of the company. He was a very young charming man. He had so much to enjoy in his life, having been brought up in a wealthy family and having the privileged of occupying such a prestigious position in the company. The moment I saw him, I knew that I had so much to learn from him. Life was not easy for me because I had to take care of my parents, since I was from a low income family. After a few months, I had learnt so much from the marketing guy. He taught me how to party, how to attend high tea surrey parties and how to take it easy even when things were tough. I am now living a very relaxed life, thanks to my friend. |

When a man meets a lady he likes, he interprets that as a challenge and he will master up all his courage so that he can ask her out. When she says yes, he starts looking for the best place to take her out, and since it is the first time, he makes sure that he does it well because the first impression holds water. He thinks about taking her out to dinner, but he does not know her favorite restaurant and if he asks her, then that would be really obvious. He can take her out but get a bad place to sit thus making conversation becomes hard. One place he could not go wrong is if he could take her to an afternoon tea surrey to a very quiet restaurant. To make the date even more romantic, he could request for a table at the terrace, giving them a beautiful view and a good atmosphere for talking and getting to know each other. Many ladies do not eat large on a first or even a second date, so taking them to an afternoon tea is perfect, because the tea is served is served with food in small and very healthy amounts like sandwiches. |

Many people say that love that is nurtured in high school lasts for long because it is very strong and it endures a lot. In my sophomore year in high school, I met my loving and amazing husband Bobby, whom we have been married for fifteen years now, and we are still strong despite the problems we have had to undergo as a couple. When we graduated from high school, we got accepted in to different colleges that were eight hour drive or four hour flight, but we still managed. One day we went to Vegas and in the midst of all the fever that comes a long with Vegas, we got married, that was in our senior year of college. When we got married, we thought that it was not legit in other states but it was, we got scared for a while but we did not get it annulled, in fact when we graduated, we moved in together. When our parents found out a year later what we had done, they were very upset because they wanted to be included in the special day so we decided to have a tea party wedding, just as they would have loved it. So we hired caterers who were experienced in such and we told them what kind of tea they should brew, we chose our parents' favorite blends, we let our mums design the invitation cards and also the decor, which they were happy to do. The wedding was at our parents' club, in the garden and it was beautiful, our parents had done a beautiful job arranging it and it had surpassed the Vegas wedding we had by far. |
